Polkerris Cove is tucked away on the Lizard Peninsular. At first sight it doesn't look anything special as it bears the scars of the quarrying industry. Yet as the dawn meets a high tide, the rounded slates cast across the dark strand-line positively shine while the rugged headland looking out to the Manacles creates a dramatic composition. Add a glorious sunrise and wonderful reflections and the seascape is complete.
