The craggy tip of Pentire Point East during an autumnal dusk. Here a long exposure of four minutes smoothes the sea and stretches the approaching cloud into an ethereal 'aurora'. This provides an engaging juxtaposition between the 'positive' sharp detail in the rock, and the 'negative' softness in the sea and sky. The palette of opposite hues works with the composition to draw the eye past The Goose - the rock in the mid-ground - and out to The Chick - the rocky outcrop that punctuates the distant headland.
This image is ideally suited to reproduction as an unframed acrylic glass artwork. The foreground colours and textures would be brought to life and the highlights and shadows will retain detail and form. You will find a range of size options in this format in the drop down menu below which comes with 2mm thick gallery glass.
However, there are thicker 4mm and even 6mm depths available. These add depth to the high definition image.
