As mid-summer approaches and daylight hours reach their longest duration, you will find me checking tide tables and weather apps to see if a low 'spring' tide will meet a high pressure front around sundown. For when these conditions combine, a rarely accessible stretch of distant shoreline at the end of Pollyjoke Cove is briefly revealed. It is a wonderful place to be with a camera as the sun finally falls below the horizon to bleed a scarlet flare into the sky.
This photograph would ideally suit reproduction as a large unframed, contemporary artwork. A high silver content print directly mounted under 2mm acrylic glass would accentuate and reflect the details and pick out flaring red hues amongst the subdued, blued colouration. Such a presentation would create a powerfully engaging artwork that would draw the eye on a dark or neutral wall. You will find a range of size options in this format in the drop down menu below.
Alternatively, a heavily carved, ornate black frame holding a smaller (A4/A3) fine art print would sit perfectly amongst the dark, richly textured surroundings of a study or sitting room.
