The Atlantic Coast of Cornwall notoriously sees a band of dense cloud resting just over the western horizon. Often it only becomes apparent when the sun is just dropping in to it, and this can be deflating to see as it sucks all the colour from the sky and dispels any chance of a fiery, flaring end to the day.
Yet on this particular sultry summer's evening, as the sun dropped, I could see definition in the band of cloud. So I put my telephoto set-up on the tripod and filtered the exposure to pick up the sun as it passed through a gap and captured this restful image.
This photograph would ideally suit reproduction either as a large framed fine art print, or acrylic gallery glass format. You will find a range of size options in these formats in the drop down menu below. Yet a heavily carved, antique gold frame holding a smaller (A4/A3) fine art print would create really striking piece. Due to the wide variety of choice in frame styles this option does not appear in the menu. So please use the Contact Me section to get in touch and find out more about the wide range of options.
