At the tip of Pentire Point East on the Atlantic Coast, there is a lofted platform of jagged rock that faces out across the Atlantic. It shows all the signs of the constant batterings it receives from the elements. Yet the higher surfaces out of reach of the waves are covered with colourful, textured lichen that makes for arresting foreground detail.
This is a favourite location of mine and I love to spend an evening here with my cameras and a flask of coffee. Watching, waiting and capturing those special atmospherics as day transitions into night.
Alongside a traditional mounted print (you will find details of the format in a range of sizes in the drop down menu below) this image would ideally suit reproduction as a large unframed, contemporary artwork. A high resolution print under 4mm or 6mm acrylic glass would compliment the lustrous details and reflections.
