The rising daylight meets a flooding tide on an autumnal dawn on the Lizard Peninsular. The muted glow in the sky bellies the bitter bite in the air, so it's left to the blued hues in the sea to tell the chilly story. At first sight, the composition of darkened surrounding features simply draws the eye in to the sea flowing around the focal point of a cluster of rocks. Yet, as with all my images, closer inspection reveals a host of slick reflections and delicious detail.
Mounted within an ornate, black, antique moulded frame, a fine art print of this image would create a dramatic artwork when hung on a day lit wall, or in the glow of a hooded spotlight amongst the darkened surroundings.
