I like to think this image captures a little of the drama and emotion of an Atlantic squall. Taken down on an exposed ledge lining Holywell Bay, I struggled to keep the lens clear from the ever-present salty spray that filled the air. These exciting and challenging conditions are what I live for. My fingers tremble with adrenaline running through my veins. My senses are heightened and every sound and sight registers. I constantly try to predict what is going to happen. Keeping a very wary eye on the sea, I try to compose with the incoming wave sets and select camera settings to compose and capture the image just as I see it in my mind's eye.
This image is ideally suited to reproduction, either as an unframed acrylic glass artwork, or perhaps as a framed 3D acrylic that has a deep 5.5cm frame with the image recessed inside the front edge. This would work to draw the dynamic wave break 'into' the room.
The drop down menu below lists the unframed options, but if you would like to discuss the 3D version and see examples of the format, feel free to use the Contact Me section, or call me during office hours on 01637 831251.
