In the teeth of a battering Atlantic Storm, I ventured to the cliffs overlooking Holywell Bay. The conditions were incredibly powerful. The hammering gale ripped the crests from huge wave impacts to send great gouts of stinging spray flying high into the air. The noise was absolutely deafening. The optics were overwhelming. Ranks of vast waves, the height of a house, assaulted the bay. From the relative shelter of a crevice in the rock, I hunkered out of the tempest and tried to capture the scene playing out before me.
This image is ideally suited to reproduction as an unframed acrylic glass artwork. The foreground detail would arrest the eye while the silvered content in the print substrate would accentuate the wave's power. The drop down menu below lists this purchase option in a number of sizes, which comes as a 2mm thick gallery glass.
However, there are 'deeper' 4mm and even 6mm depths available. These add a lustrous depth to the image.
