A second aspect of a wondrously colourful dawning down on Porthcurno's tideline. I had been in place long before, waiting with mounting anticipation as the sky started to lighten. Yet the conditions gave no hint of what was to come. For as the sun rose, so the heavy, low cloud over the Horrace promontory, began to glow with an intense orange luminescence. Moreover, the increasing light levels made the sea shine with fantastic aqua hues to create a complimentary match of opposites in the colour palette. My 'magic minute' camera and filter settings captured the moment when a rushing wave impacted in a bursting plume.
