The summer sky doesn't really get dark up in the distant Highlands. Here on the beach at Redpoint looking across The Minch to the distant Isle of Skye, I took this shot as 1.00am approached. The horizon looked as though molten lava was pouring across its surface. A truly incredible sight to take in.
