An evocatively filtered image looking out to sea from the Poppy fields of West Pentire, that I dedicate to my Grandfather, John Jack Simmons.
This majestic spectacle was first seen in 2014 to commemorate the centenary of World War 1. In following years, many have been drawn to witness this thoughtful mark of respect and gratitude. Long may it continue.
Lest we forget.
