I have shot in mid-winter in Iceland and high up in the Norwegian Arctic Circle. Yet I don't recall ever being as cold as I was on the first day of shooting Storm Darcy as it hit the Cornish coast. The icy easterly wind was dragging the mercury way down and my exposed cheeks were stinging and I lost all feeling in my gloved fingers. Yet the optics were quite spectacular. The sea was a deep blue and the waves were crystal clear. When hit by the thin, wintry daylight, they positively shone.
Alongside the popular limited edition options listed in the drop down menu below, I offer a complete range of reproduction format and framing services. This image would ideally suit reproduction as a large, ultra HD Acrylic artwork. The definition this format offers would enhance the detail in the wave crest.
