Very early one June morning, I crawled out of bed and looked out at the weather to see if was going to be worth heading out with the cameras for a dawn shoot. It was overcast and raining but I grabbed my gear and set off down the lane to West Pentire. And thank goodness I did! For as I made my way down the rocks leading to the sand, the sky started to burn. As I watched and worked my camera, all the time trying to keep the rain off my lens, the rising sun angled under the low cloud base to illuminate the falling rain and set it alight with flaring scarlet hues. An absolutely incredible spectacle that will stay with me forever.
This image is ideally suited to reproduction as a large unframed acrylic glass artwork, where the minimalist composition would be enhanced by the clean lines of the 'unframed' contemporary format. You will find a range of size options in the drop down menu below.
Alternatively, you could go completely the other way and have it as a smaller, A4 sized print mounted in a heavily ornate antique frame in either mahogany black or 'antique' gold.
